Almond Butter Waffle

Waffles are just pancakes with abs! Eat waffles get abs. Here is my classic almond butter waffle recipe. Happy Sunday my loves! Makes 6 waffles.

Ingredients

1 and 2/3 of cups organic all purpose flour
2 tbsp of coconut sugar or brown sugar
1 tsp of flax meal
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup apple sauce
2 tbsp of almond butter
1 1/3 cups of soy or almond milk
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup melted coconut oil

Method

Heat your waffle griddle.
Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until mixture is smooth. Pour couple of spoonfuls of batter inside the waffle maker. Cook for few min until waffles are crispy on both side. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
