Apple Pie Spring Rolls
Deliciously crispy and light. Serve it with coconut whip or ice cream!
Here is the full recipe. Makes 12-15 spring rolls depending on the size of your spring roll wrappers. I didn’t have the square shaped one at home when my boys asked me to make some so I used what I had in my freezer.
Ingredients
Spring roll wrappers. 12 sheets or more depending how many you want
4 green or red seasonal apples, peeled and diced
2 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp of corn starch
1/3 cup sugar
Oil for shallow frying
1/4 cup sugar and 1 tbsp of cinnamon for dusting
Method
Diced the apples, put it in a bowl or a deep plate. Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, corn starch. Mix to combine. Wrap 1 tbsp of apple pie filling in each spring roll wrappers and shallow fry them until crispy on all sides. Dust it in the cinnamon sugar and enjoy.
